Weekend Planner, Back to Normal? Edition

After a month or two of downtime it looks like things might be getting back to normal. There was good times at CAP last weekend and looks like more in the works for this weekend.

Niceville is having a practice day on Saturday

More to come as it gets announced.

Weekend Planner: Finally! edition

This weekend is the first chance to get your paintball on in a while. This has really been a dry spell, so everyone get out there and show them that we want to play and that if they open a local field, we'll be there.

Sunday the 25th is a big xball practice day at CAP

I wanted to get this up early so word gets out, in the meantime that means that a lot of other sites haven't got their plans for this weekend up, so if you don't feel like xball practice, check back later and there might be something else.

Weekend Planner, "Restless Natives" edition

Well, after a long break, partly due to holidays, partly due to other things, people seem ready to get back to paintball.

The Giants will be working on their field Saturday, with hopes to play on Sunday.
Change of plans, no paintball Sunday in P-Cola...

Bob's is "booked solid for a while", I'm not sure what that means for walk ons.

And that's about it for right now. Gotta get back up to speed slowly, know what I mean? Prevents sprains... There may be a new field in Pensacola, almost hate to mention it since it's really only in the planning stages right now, but if you want to post up and mention how much you'd like to play I'm sure it'll help keep the momentum up and help make it happen.

Weekend looks chilly!

Weekend Planner, A day late, a dollar short

Things got busy this week and I didn't have a chance to get this up earlier, but the boards were quiet, at least when it came to playing paintball this weekend. Lots of talk about FMJ and where the Giants will have their field.

Bob's forum hasn't seen any activity since Sunday, so no practice days planned there.

There's some rumblings about folks playing at the Coliseum this weekend, what day it's happening on is a bit sketchy, but if you're hard up for some holiday paintballing, that's probably your best bet.

As always, weather linky here.

Weekend Planner, nothing doing edition

The title says it all, there's nothing doing this weekend in local paintball.

Nothing announced on Bob's, FMJ is gone, and no recent posts on Choppa's talking about playing this weekend.

Here's the weather anyway, in case you're playing in your back yard.

A Moment of Silence please

It's a terrible day for the local paintball scene. Due to the actions of a single bad apple, the fields at FMJ, both speedball and woodsball have been taken away. We were able to play thanks to the generosity of the Sterling Fibers company that owns the land. Someone decided to shoot the water tower on said land and they no longer want to deal with irresponsible folks shooting up their property.
So please observe a moment of silence as we all mourn the passing of one of the best fields in the panhandle. Also take a minute to thank everyone who put their blood sweat and tears into making it what it was, it was truly a labor of love and took a lot of work to set up and tear down each weekend.

Thanks for the memories...

Weekend Planner, Working off the Turkey edition

OK, first off, don't spend money on the new NPPL Paintball Game. It's awful... maybe just trade somebody an old loader if you want to try it, but seriously don't spend your hard earned on it. It's broken.

Now to the news you came for...

Speedball Saturday hosted by the Giants at FMJ

A little birdy told me MagFreak is having a woodsball day Sunday, but there's no site to link to, if you know how to get in touch with him and want to play woodsball I hear there's been a great turnout the last few game days.

Bob's is having a big weekend, so if you can't make it to P-Cola, try Mobile.

Here's the weather forecast.
