Well, it's always been slow after PSP World Cup but I have to admit to slacking a bit. Just popping on now to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays as well as a Happy New Year. Hope Santa brings you all the paint you could ever use and that back-up marker that everyone knows you need.

Weekend Planner: Next week edition

Paintball practice at Hwy77 the weekend of the 20th. At least that's the plan for now, as always keep an eye on the thread to make sure nothing changes.

Toys for Tots 3-Man Tourney

LASwat is holding a Toys for Tots 3-Man tournament Sunday December 5th.

It's a great cause and a cheap tourney, only $20 or an unwrapped toy worth $20 for entry per person. Field paint only and no air fee.

Preregistration *is* required, so click here and get it done.

It's a fun tourney to help make Christmas a little brighter for those in need. So go shoot fools for the needy!

Weekend Planner: Oops edition

Been out of the game for a bit, but not much happened except for friggin PSP World Cup!

Anyway, things are getting back to normal, just colder than usual. There'll be good games at Hwy77 this Saturday.

The weekend weather looks iffy, so keep an eye on that forum thread linked above for any change of plans.

Weekend Planner: Monday edition

Practice at Hwy 77 this Saturday the 28th. They'll be using the World Cup layout, so if you or your team is planning on going to Cup, be there and get some practice in. Nothing helps more than knowing the field.

No super early edition like last time. Katana is having a practice this weekend on the 14th at Hwy 77. It's going to be another hot one so get there early to beat the heat. Have your paintball gear ready to go at 9:00 and bring plenty of water/sports drink. And no, energy drinks are *not* sports drinks.

Damn it's hot, but don't let that stop you from playing paintball, just start playing earlier. Like having guns rolling by 8:30AM on Sunday. Like they say, get the games in before the heat gets too bad.

P.C. Katana is practicing Sunday. They don't specify the field, but I'd have to guess hwy 77. Post up a comment if you know for sure.

If you'd like to get a jump on next weekend, Onyx is having a practice next Sunday at CAP.

Always good paintballing with both of these teams, so even if you're new or not on a team at the moment, go and get your skills honed.

Weekend Planner, Springtime Edition

Alright, the cold and nasty weather is behind us, it's time for some paintball! You even have some options this weekend.

On the 21st there should be a full crew out at CAP Paintball in Foley.

Or you can be at HWY 77 in Panama City on the 20th. Katana is having tryouts so if you want to have a shot at being on the team be there at 9:00 sharp. If you just want to shoot up potential team members I imagine you could be a little late.

Practice on the 14th in Foley. Even if you aren't on a team you can be sure to have some good pick up games and some excellent competition. Even though it's Valentine's day, grab your marker, throw on your pack, and get out there.

Weekend Planner, Freezing Edition

This Saturday the 16th is the Katana/97x Radio game. I've got to assume it's out at HWY 77 in Panama City. After that there should be some good games and drills happening. As always, keep an eye on this thread for last minute details and changes. The forecast is calling for a rainy Saturday so it could be postponed.

*UPDATE*

The title should be changed from "Freezing Edition" to "Rained Out", since the practice day has been moved from Saturday to Sunday. Check the link and let them know if you can make it so they'll know if there will be enough to play, otherwise the whole weekend may be canceled.
